If you’re digital, then 'beta' in its purest form (including instant updates and upgrades), will be a given. If you’re involved with physical production, beta is a mindset. Meaning you’re not going to hawk inedible chocolates, or, God forbid, sell hospitals your semi-tried and tested cardio monitor equipment. But you are still going to be as obsessed with continuous improvement and innovation, as if you were a pure web 2.0 play, together with your customers.
